How to make Family T-Shirts?
Step 1: The t-shirts are all printed with the same design. We’ve varied the colours a bit. First, cut out the copied templates, transfer them to the foam, and cut them all out. Stick the foam motifs on to the outside of a transparent CD case.
Step 2: Use the little sponge to dab a bit of your chosen fabric dye on to the foam until the entire surface is evenly covered.
Step 3: Lay some newspaper inside the t-shirts to stop the dye from penetrating both layers, then stamp on the foam shapes. Leave the fabric dye to dry and then fix it according to the packet instructions, with the iron.
Step 4: For the kid’s t-shirt we used a cotton bud to print red dots on to a Christmas tree, and also painted a smiling face on the tree.
